Small grocery stores are within walking distance of the Zaashila Resort Condos (located 5-10 minutes away near the Barcelo Hotel). The only Super Market is LaFuente, which is on the outskirts of La Crucecita. La Crucecita has several smaller grocery stores all over town and a native fruit, vegetable, etc. market just off the town square.
Native handcrafted articles are available everywhere, but it is more fun and a much more interesting experience to visit the many coastal and mountain villages where artisans directly sell their goods on special market days and holidays.
